Staff were welcoming, caring and attentive. The atmosphere is very calm and professional.
My experience as an in patient at King Edward VII was very positive. The staff were very knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean although very hot, necessitating the use of air conditioning. The little touches of special toiletries added a welcoming feel at a time of anxiety. The food was tasty and fresh.
Above all, a calm atmosphere pervaded which really helped with pre-operative anxiety and no doubt would help with healing. I would certainly recommend the hospital to friends.
One suggestion - I was asked to complete forms in the out patient department at every visit - all requesting the same information that had already been given. Perhaps the information could be stored centrally which would obviate this task.
My experience of King Edward's for my surgery and my outpatients appointments has been really good.
Best hospital I have been to. My stay and aftercare were both excellent.
Great care by the whole team.
Mr Sethi made sure I was looked after throughout my stay.
Wonderful, kind, caring. Beautiful room. Lovely nurses. Even before the op met the anaethetist, felt totally safe and involved. Just the best experience. Surgery is always a little worrying, but everyone, including my surgeon, made me feel totally secure.
I recently had a double mastectomy and reconstruction at the Kind Edward VII and was very happy with the care I received. The team, from surgeons to nurses and physios, was wonderful, everyone was very professional but also very kind which is so important when dealing with cancer. The food was amazing which helps when we are in hospital for a few days without visitors. My recovery has been impressive and I'm very grateful to everyone who looked after me there. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone needing care. My only suggestion would be to give more info to the temp nurses, the 121 nurse who was with me didn't know that much about the operation I had, it wasn't a problem, but would have helped him as it was his first time working there.

I had two consultation appointments and my surgery at the King Edward VII hospital. Without exception the medical team were very kind and took every effort to look after me.
The only hiccup I experienced was over discharge after the surgery. I didn't feel I was given enough information regarding the delay. A way to resolve this would have been to manage my expectations with regards to the timings and to run through the required steps.
Over and above this admin delay, I wouln't hestiate to recommend the hosptial in the future.
The management refuses to address questionable conduct by surgeons and even covers for them. They treat aggrieved patients like filth.
